Ground manners perfect - you can clip him, give him shots, float his teeth, shoe him and trailer. . . no problem
4-gaited, tolt, trot and canter are all clean, clear and smooooooth. Gallops forward nicely and stops on a dime (so I can take pictures).
Can back a straight line or serpentine for a far as you want. Neck reins, turns on haunches and forehand. Shoulder in, leg yielding (side passing). Has started jumping and flying changes of lead. Spent the last 2 months with foxhounds in training jumping on him and running under him. On formal days, he carried the camera. So easy to ride but, requires a better than beginner rider for his occasional loss of courage. He's never had a sick or lame day. He was imported from Canada 6yrs ago.
